Land Use Acknowledgment

Koma Kulshan which in the Lummi language means “White, Shining, Mountain”, is also referred to as Mt. Baker. The mountain lies on the traditional land of the Nooksack Tribe, Upper Skagit Tribe, and other Coast Salish language-speaking peoples. We would like to express our deepest gratitude for their enduring care and protection of our shared mountain and its wider environments.
